Why aren't you using your heldrake against the Wyverns? only AV10 side around *and* they're open topped?
I think your main issue may be a low model count.

Seems like a mixture of expecting a dirt cheap unit dieing to its counter and too many points put into overpriced things like a pimped out Chaos Lord and (the always points inefficient) Terminators. The cultists are their to fulfill your troop requirement and draw fire so it seems to me that they are doing that. Wyverns are quite powerful at spamming wounds but they are useless against vehicles and less effective against tougher units with better saves. As others have said try using METAL BAWKES.

^ I agree completely with Vankraken
Firstly Wvyerns are suppose to be causing high casualties on light/medium infantry but at the same time managing to cause enough wounds to hurt the odd termi, SMQ or character.
It's like me complaining that a battlecannon wiped out half my 30 guardman blob.... well it's going to do that, but it stops him shooting at my armour or my mate Marines who can do potentially a lot more and still would of been wiped.
Maybe drop the termies for something cheaper. The Wyverns are only S4 AP5 so that 1+ to the armour saves is not that effective. That is specifically if it is only the wyverns causing you issues.
