I'm probably going to collect Salamanders, but I might tinker with the background a bit and make them more like D'n'D dragonborn in my headcanon. I like the list though.

Of the rest, they all look fairly interesting but the Fishmen list and the Night Stalkers are definitely the most interesting.

Seems to me you could fit Tyranids into the Night Stalker army list actually with a little modification and so on. They're a pretty cool army because they're quite different looks wise to anything else in Mantic's catalogue and pretty creepy and Lovecraftian in flavour. I would probably ignore the backstory though and just have them be ineffable horrors from beyond reality.

All in all definitely worth the price I paid for it, very much so! Cheers Matt and the rules committee.

Hi, could you please make some pictures from the book and maybe from some unit list (not complete the complete list of course), to give me and other players an impression of the new book?

even easier go to http://kow2.easyarmy.com/ here you will find a list editor that will give you stats and let you build lists. to see what the special rules are click the "view" button in the upper right to see an output scroll all the way down to see the rules section.

My understanding is that easy army was created with the permission from Mantic.

I really like the book I think the army lists turned out very well. The only complaint I have is that there isn't a map in the book. Given the way the introduction was written I was expecting to see a Mantica map somewhere in the book. A minor complaint for sure just thought it was odd.

The important thing is that the book has got me excited to put lists together and put new faction armies on the table.

Sure would be nice if I could buy the book, but Mantic apparently excludes my country, and only my country, from their online store, just for the lulz.

@Momotaro: did you get any further shipping confirmation for that package? I still have zilch and I have confirmation they would ship everything plus UE book, but still nothing as far as shipping confirmation goes.

Hi Bol,

No notification at all.

Mantic are still waiting for a batch of Blaine models before they ship the last of the Living Legend pledges. I phoned them to find out what was happening - when Rich told me, I asked for the books and tokens without Blaine. Uncharted Empires was their very nice, and completely unexpected way of making up for that.

Shipping took 3 days from my call to arrive, but I live 30 miles from Mantic HQ

I can only suggest you phone them to find out what's happening.

Picked up this book on Friday. Overall I like it. He fact that it brings me up to pretty much 4 total kow armies by adding my lizardmen and skagen I've got sitting around is nice. Also eventually considering a Herd army.

My local area is actually going to support a local kow tourney at a FLGS so that'll be an interesting start.

I haven't been this excited about playing fantasy in years (though I was pretty excited for age of sigmar but it tanked locally).
