Chrome most of the time, unless I'm at work where the only options are IE and Firefox (I use Firefox because IE blows).

Ditto...

I've got chrome "lite" as my PC is rather locked down. I don't have performance issues.

When using java apps, I stick with IE.

IE
(yup it's a crappy brower, but it is the most reliable, and seems to work with the widest range of sites)

Firefox
(Lots of useful add ons but it's never been stable, and the add ons tend to make it worse, so I use it when I need to use said add ons)

Chrome
(Fast when it launched it now doesn't seem to be any different from the others, still there are some speed benefits when streaming from sites with lower bandwidths)

Chrome was very fast a first, but then became very slow to start and open new sites. it eats cpu resources

Am I the only one to completely distrust Google ?

I'm pretty sure they're trying to take over the world.

I dont trust Google either.

I use Opera, trouble with Opera is that its too indie and Microsoft doesn't like it much. MS changes stuff adds in compatibility for Firefox and Chrome but not Opera. Every so often my MS software just plain doesn't work with it after an update. It nearly got me to abandon Opera by inconvenience, but I like the browser.

n'oublie jamais - It appears I now have to highlight this again.

It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion. By the juice of the brew my thoughts aquire speed, my mind becomes strained, the strain becomes a warning. It is by tea alone I set my mind in motion.

I use chrome, but my antivirus software merged with chrome, turning it into something called Chromodo.
I do miss the aesthetic of Internet Explorer however. With a toolbar or two, it felt kind of mechanical and basic. Kept freezing my computer though.
