Tough Tyrant Guard

I've had to deal with the big bugs in my tyranids getting nerfed 3 codicies in a row, 3 editions in a row. I've yet to find an army that can't kill anything in a single turn. 2 grav guns will kill -any- TMC with contemptuous ease. All this does is make sure those that manage to survive the grav/D/scatterbike/krak missile/ion cannon deluge is basically useless. Even better is that now any SM dread can just LOL through my MC's that cost 2x more than the "weak crappy dreads" that my "big scarry MC's" cant touch.

On a serious note... I am getting tired of being lumped into the Riptide department just because my not-meatshield units have the "Monstrous Creature" tag on them. It's not like a carnifex can even hope to kill its points in terminators, no matter the flavor.

we can hope that the new nid codex that is supposed to drop could return to the 4th(?) ed codex with its 85 point Carnifexes that could count as elite if they were under 115 points again, but I think it more likely that it will be more similar to the Tau one - a Carbon Copy reprint with formations thrown on top.

Yet still better than vehicles.

2 grav guns? No. 2 grav cannons, yes.
