This thread makes no sense with all the imperial measurements being flung around.

Anyway.

A standard marinade I use for a lot of pork cuts is:

100ml soy sauce
2 tablespoons of honey (depending on how sweet you want it)
3 crushed cloves of garlic
Freshly ground black pepper (to whatever extent you want, I always overdose on pepper)

And that's it. Leave meat overnight in a sealbag in the fridge and cook next day how you like it, done.

To be fair, I add honey to almost anything I cook these days because honey is probably the best ingredient in the world.

The struggles of being a cook in this day and age. I have to use it because of bloody american measurements.

And Amen to honey!

Honey is what I sometimes call nature's nectar. (No homo)

But honey isn't even nectar. They are almost completely different.

H.B.M.C.- The end hath come! From now on armies will only consist of Astorath, Land Speeder Storms and Soul Grinders!
War Kitten- Vanden, you just taunted the Dank Lord Ezra. Prepare for seven years of fighting reality...
koooaei- Emperor: I envy your nipplehorns. <Magnus goes red. Permanently>
Neronoxx- If our Dreadnought doesn't have sick scuplted abs, we riot.
Frazzled- I don't generally call anyone by a term other than "sir" "maam" "youn g lady" "young man" or " HEY bag!"
Ruin- It's official, we've ran out of things to talk about on Dakka. Close the site. We're done.
mrhappyface- "They're more what you'd call guidlines than actual rules" - Captain Roboute Barbosa
Steve steveson- To be clear, I'd sell you all out for a bottle of scotch and a mid priced hooker.

Its much better than calling Honey, Nature's Honey.
