I'm assuming he went with Khan/Scars to get scout for all transports. Being able move everyone around is powerful.
+1 to this. If you can move flat out during your scout move, that means you are within shooting range on turn 1 with your bolters/meltas.

I had an idea for a Dark Angels full Battle Company list that I made on Battlescribe. To avoid derailing the thread I won't post the list I came up with, and I don't have the models for it, but I didn't take only Razorbacks as the free transports. I ended up with 1 Rhino, 3 Drop Pods, and 6 Razorbacks with a variety of weapons. For the tac marines, all of them were 5 man squads. 2 have melta/combimelta in pods for some tank-killing alpha strike power, two have missile launchers with flakk for a little bit of anti-air (Dark Angels don't get a lot), one has plasma/combi-plasma, the final tac squad has gravgun/combi-grav. I feel like having a good variety of different weapons can make sure that every threat is covered, whereas something like grav-spam has some hard counters (like Orks or Daemons with almost no armor). For the full battle company, taking nothing but Razorbacks isn't the only way. I would think taking a good mix of Razorbacks and Drop Pods would perhaps work even better. Even Rhinos can have their place in a full battle company (putting a dev squad with 2 gravcannons in it can keep said squad better protected).

My armies (re-counted and updated on 11/7/24, including modeled wargear options):
Dark Angels: ~16000 Astra Militarum: ~1200 | Imperial Knights: ~2300 | Leagues of Votann: ~1300 | Tyranids: ~3400 | Stormcast Eternals: ~5000 | Kruleboyz: ~3500 | Lumineth Realm-Lords: ~700

The Grotsnik Corp Bump Feelerer 9,000. It only looks like several bricks crudely gaffer taped to a cricket bat.
