it should work perfectly as all the file are prepared to be printed with a min build area is 100mmX100mmX100mm and the micro3d is 109mm x 113mm X116 mm

you should manage to get the same result as i showed in the previous picture

but you should hurry because the campaign end in less than 24 hours

Thanks MLaw... It looks like it's only for your personal use. You can't sell products off of the files. I need to cancel my pledge.

I don't find a place to cancel. I've never used Indogo

The castle is to cool so I decided to stay in. Yep, I talked to the people at Fablab and was blown away by what I saw. Even if I just print out the castle for myself it looks like a great deal. I'm thinking about taking some classes on programming my own files. It helps that my wife was a programmer.

I'm considering going the fablab route too. There's one at a college about an hour away. Do you have to be a student? or is it open to the public? How much did it cost to print out all of those castle pieces from a fablab?

I got the multi floor house from their last Kickstarter, and some free stone wall obstacles. I don't know if I need or have room for a big castle though, but I might go in for some of their other buildings.

I was thinking about investing in a $500 or less consumer printer for doing terrain and doing some of my own sculpts, but then I need another $800 to buy zbrush too :/ really adds up fast. And I worry that I'll spend days filing and sanding all of the plastic layers to get stuff to look good. I'm old an impatient these days.

So do you have to add the $40 to get any of the stretch goals other than those that would come with the castle pledge level?

I think that 'canceling' a pledge on Indiegogo is nowhere near as easy as it is on Kickstarter.

I think the creator on Indiegogo has to 'approve' the cancellation request and then refund the money?

I do wish they would have had a 'get these things printed out' pledge too - or run another campaign to do it? - as these buildings are amazing!

But I've no idea on where/how to get them printed myself!

I can't find your city in Google Maps but I did a Google search for Libraries with 3d Printers in MA and I found some in Newton, Shrewsbury, Peabody, Seekonk, Bellington, and a few others. It also looks like some of the colleges might have printers for public use. I imagine you have to sign up and show an ID. It also looks like Office Depot might offer 3d printing in some stores.

They have a membership at the college I'm looking at. $150 for six months.

If that includes them helping you understand how to use the printers and the materials, it's probably worth it..

Ha!

Sorry about that!

Svalarheima is an INFINITY reference - though the state is real!

Thanks for looking for me though - I do appreciate it!

They will even help me put a 3D printer together. I'd prefer to buy one already assembled. Depends on the cost.

So there's a fablab in my city, anyone have an estimate of about how much a membership costs at one of these? If you just pay for materials, this seems awesome.
