oldzoggy, you are right, no more 7.0 edition nerfs. Get ready for the all new 7.5 dition nerfs.

Grots are now 10 ppm with no changes!
Shootas are now S4, AP5 Assault 1!
Orks now have to make a roll on a random table to see what they can do each phase!

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
Orks always ride in single file to hide their strength and numbers.

Seriously just add the things up.

- IA 8 is out of production
- Ghaz update doesn't make any sense.
- New ork "starter set" in the planning
- Campaign might include orks.

And now the codex oop.

Just concider a new release it suddenly would make GHAZ great and gives FW a good reason to release IA8.

The new ork starter set is out in the USA webstore.

INSANE army lists still available!!!! Now being written in 8th edition format! I have Index Imperium 1, Index Imperium 2, Index Xenos 2, Codex Orks Codex Tyranids, Codex Blood Angels and Codex Space Marines!
PM me for an INSANE (100K+ points) if you desire.

They don't hate Tau, they just are listening to the customer base on the internet. However, they keep buffing Tau because they see who is voting with their wallet also.

GW guy 1: They hate Tau! Quick post something Anti-Tau!
GW guy 2: But they're buying the Tau stuff off the shelves, won't that make them angry?
GW guy 1: Just make the rules better, trust me, the Tau guys are use to the hate and they'll get over it.

Yeah...it's a Start Collecting set, hence starter set. It includes a formation within the box allowing a player who has the Start Collecting box and the Ork Codex to jump right into the game.

Vedros isn't out yet. Seriously people, does nobody read the actual information that gets posted by people who were at the Nuremburg Toy Fair(where Vedros was first shown)?
Their goal is to have them in toy stores/non-GW shops in November of this year. That's what the GW reps told interested parties.

Most likely just a soft back treatment... :/

As many problems as I have with this current rendition of the book, I would much rather have a new plastic warbuggy kit, a new (and serious) deffkopta kit, and a repackaging of the Mek Gunz kit with a plastic Lobba, Kannon, and Zzap gun piece.

Not the Lobba, Kannon, and Zzap gun parts. You can convert plastic versions from the old battlewagon upgrade sprue, but they look pretty tiny inside the new Mek Gunz chassis casing. I have plenty of old metal lobbas, zzaps, and kannons, but I'd like an updated version to coincide with the new kit.

As for the Warbuggy kit, it is plastic but it's also old as dirt and the orks riding it are as tiny as guardsmen. It's a Gorkamorka kit.

They are switching the codex to softcover. I just ordered one through my FLGS a couple of weeks ago and he was told that the hard cover is no longer available.

Actually, even older. It's good ole' 2nd edition. Maybe one of the only kits still being sold. I think the wartrakk is slightly newer, although it's still from 2nd edition. Or maybe that one was made for Gorkamorka, come to think of it.

I just think it's funny that as sold, the War Buggy has a multi-melta.

I stopped in my FLGS today to finally pick up a copy of the softcover W!G, and they were sold out. The owner said that he tried to order more from GW, but they are are "temporarily out of stock". I do see that Waaagh! Ghazghkull softcover is listed as "temporarily out of stock" on the main GW site. I guess GW must have sold through the initial print run and are waiting for more to be printed. I also noticed on GW.com that they dropped the price slightly for Codex: Orks Softback to $41. That's a nice price drop, although if they could have matched the new lower priced W!G it would have been even better.
