I'm not sure a long time homeless guy will have much of an impact on protesting rent prices. Probably do good for some Etsy retailer sales though.

Well......if anyone who's been to Seattle. Either didn't see tent townships near I5 or Downtown Seattle on the side walks under the bridges. Since I do not go deep into Seattle (Tukwila and East Marginal is as far as I go on road or ferry into Pike's Place).

Of course in this guy AO I can see it now.

Part of the reason that rents in Seattle are so high is because these apartment and condo towers, many of which are at 50% or less occupation, receive tax breaks from the city when they can't lease units at the listed price. An alternate option would be to let the market decide what people are willing to pay for the unit, rather than reward companies who have, basically, fixed the rents at inflated levels.

Hell, my own landlord thinks my master bedroom apartment in a crumbling, century-plus old house, with wiring that was outdated in the 1970s and a plumbing system installed in the 50s should be leased for $1000 a month! This doesn't even bring into consideration the other three bedrooms, one of which is a glorified closet (that he thinks should rent for $500 a month).

If the rent is to damn high I suggest you vote for Jimmy in 2016
