To help clarify the necron soul discussion, necrontyr had souls, and necrons do not. The necrons had their souls devoured by the C'tan when they transcended.

Don't Necron Lords and such still have a measure of their soul intact though?

The Lords have more sentience, personality, etc, but IIRC all necrons had their souls eaten. I suppose you can argue that these emotions give you a soul, but I suppose on what you consider a soul to be exactly.
