You are right, those breast have been bothering me. I am going to reduce them. Sadly I can't go back to the old chest as I broke it taking it of. Sometimes an experiment is not successful, but I will see if I can make this chest work.

Thanks for the feed back.

I have changed up the weapons a bit, they are a bit out of her way and magnetized. I now have the full Riptide load-out available.

They can point down more because of the magnets, but I like them up too.

Cool. I think I've seen that sword before, or something like it: it lights up, right?

Okay, so the second one is not quite as tall, but still taller than an actual Riptide. They're both awesome, both in concept and execution. One more like that and you can run the Riptide wing.

Maybe you could use something even bigger to do a Stormsurge...

Don't tempt me. However, considering how much these two cost and the time involved I could already have three riptides if I went traditional. Maybe when I get a chance to use them I'll want another.

I like those swords. Wonder if you can get them in the states?

If I do a third Riptide I will go ultra anime, maybe lights?

Love the second one, seems slimmer and a little more sleek which fits the tau scheme.

Really impressive sculpting. These are tough to bring some imagination to finished product.

hey what time is it?

Gundam Girls!

Seriously, amazing work on these conversions. There's no way I could sculpt anything like that...

You could almost run them as a Stormsurges. They're certainly big enough.

As for the proportions of the second one, they may seem a bit exaggerated, but then again: this is a Gundam Girl. It's almost mandatory to exaggerate her measurements.

Looking forward to seeing the second one progress.

Thank you. I am quite happy with the girls as well. They are not perfect, but few things are.

Yes, they are tall enough for Storm surges, but the base and the weapons are all wrong, I am going to do one eventually. I think the Storm Surge may be a guy, but I don't know, depends on what inspires me. I do know I am going to turn the base sideways and do the main gun as a rifle with a bi-pod (the anchors), but I don't know how to work in the missiles yet.

I may be done, I am going to set her aside for a while and then look at her with fresh eyes.

Any suggestions? Any detail I missed?

I am happy with the end results, but I am going to have to watch projects like this in the future. It's a bit expensive!

$50 Broadside
$30 Piranha
$50 Commander suit
$170 Two Riptides
$38 Devilfish
$35 Green Stuff (Yes, I really used this much)
$60 Three Marvel 6" action figures

$433 Total or about
$144 Each

Sometimes it's cheaper to just buy the kits than do DIY.

You ended up paying almost double PER riptide suit.
Sure, they are distinctive and "yours" but only you can say whether or not they were worth it.

I'm OVER 50 (and so far over everyone's BS, too).
Old enough to know better, young enough to not give a ****.

Oh they are worth it! Remember, this is an all conversion army. Even, my lowly fire warriors took two miniatures to build each one. Yes, I did a lot of bargain hunting, savaging, and trading, but this army is not a cheep one. But I have enjoyed the whole process and am proud of the results.

I just need to watch myself and my budget when doing big additions to the army. These ladies in particular have caused me more than one ramen dinner.
