Pay where you play, always a good policy. If you're just using them as a free table, you can't expect the store to stay open.

My FLGS has a fully stocked and running kitchen, so this is easy. I'll usually spend at least $20 there even if I don't mean to, since I'll order a burger and fries for lunch from then and a few bottles of water during the course of the day, and at the end a few paints or something. So even if I hunt bargains and the like online, I still spend money there.
