Sorry for the thread necro but I'm wondering: how are you adding apothecaries to these units? I'm new to 30K, traitor word Bearers, and using battlescribe to build my force I can't see an apothecary option?

Apothecary detachment is an Elite option. Can take up to 3 apothecaries and farm them out to units.

Play what's fluffy for your army. I footslog 15-20 per squad with extra CCW, kitted srgs, vox, vex, and apothecary. I'm a DG player so efficient soldiers are my bag. Those squads are hulks, btw - it takes you dedicating a large amount of firepower (quad mortars not withstanding) to take out that squad. And if you're doing that, you're not focusing on larger stuff i'm bringing to bear. They're great for camping objectives, and FotL is nothing to shake a stick at.
