Autocannons or Multilases. Do not even bother with the Heavy Flamer - unless tarpitting a Sentinel that is close enough to flame is too close.

Couple loadouts that I regularly use:

- Scout sentinels with multilasers, uber-cheap, good at contesting backfield objectives with outflank, decent against light armor, 'Nids, Eldar, and Orks

- Armored with autocannons. They can hold the line, intercept enemy assault units, and put out moderate firepower. Av 12 is surprisingly robust in my experience, especially when you've got 6 hull points for only about 120 points.

- Counter assault, scout sentinels with heavy flamers. Keep them in reserves or use them to outflank, three heavy flamer shots are devastating against pretty much everything except Space Marines.
