I thought that a Chaos death star would include abaddon ?

Got milk?

All I can say about painting is that VMC tastes much better than VMA... especially black...

PM me if you are interested in Commission work.

Death stars move 12" or more, Abaddon does not. Nuff said

The only slow Death star that I have heard works is Necron Lych-star with Orikan and some Lords, but that unit just doesn't die.
Even Centurian stars have either Drop Pods or Draigo to move around

2+ is better.

It's not that simple, but your conclusion is the same. Spell Familiar makes you re-roll all dice.

Also, any CSM deathstar should be including the Hand of Darkness. That's a terminally underrated relic.

"'players must agree how they are going to select their armies, and if any restrictions apply to the number and type of models they can use."

This is an actual rule in the actual rulebook. Quit whining about how you can imagine someone's army touching you in a bad place and play by the actual rules.

So, what I'm imagining would work would be:

-Max Flesh Hounds
-A Cyclopea Cabal. Use Sinistrum (notLibrarius) for save rerolls, and Might of Heroes to buff your heroes, and Biomancy for endurance/stronger stuff. Use Geomortis(Geomancy) to give your Hounds IWND, while abusing Wound Allocation.
-Cypher, for Shrouded & Hit&Run.

Supporting elements: If you're bringing Forgeworld, grab the 1st War Of Armageddon Legacy of Ruin, to give all nearby Daemons of Khorne an improved Invul. Plop it on a Sicaran or so, I guess.

The unit denies Maledictions/Witchfires on a 2+ with the right relics, due to being Adamantium Will, having a Level 4 Psyker (Last Memory), and the Collar of Khorne. It chomps down on things, and has an Invulnerable that's classically annoying.

Barkbark.

He's 265 points for a unit that isn't even that impressive in melee. I'd rather have Typhus a majority of the time, as things he can't handle, like vehicles, can be handled by other Lords, and everyone loses to Wraithknights in melee anyway.

Iron Hands beg to differ.

Chapter Master Smashfucker will still perform badly against a Wraithknight, but the difference is that he's more durable than Abigail and has actual movement outside of needing to be slinged.
