I think tetrad v tetrad would be a very carefully played game, and highly rely on the psychic phase. Thus making a very luck based game. Most likely all the daemons would be flying constantly as well lol, so it might be pretty boring. Flying around shrieking other daemons.
My ordnance tyrant list is it's own worst nightmare. Whoever got first turn, assuming some decent hits with earthshakers, would mutilate the other player, hands down. S8+ ap3 barrage is the bane of my list. It would annihilate the artillery no problem. Luckily, blast weaponry isn't the meta right now, hell, it isn't even the casual play it seems, so my 8 earthshakers, 9 rapier lasers, 4 thudd guns, 4 quad cannons, and 2 wyverns are all safe from turn 1 annihilation.
Using the tetrad, I've played against a few similar lists, but never an identical one. I played against a KoS and 3 Daemon prince + CSM list with a bunch of psychic tricks. As well as I think 2 instances of playing other tetrads, both with something different than a tallyband and furies. The games never seemed to run their full length, The nature of the armies is that they rely so heavily on the daemon princes, that once one or two die, its as good as over. Against the KoS list, I had some heavy summoning going on as well, my herald turned into a D thirster and that is when the game was called.
I don't think I have ever faced Space wolves as Space wolves. I can't imagine it being all too exciting though. I have faced a drop pod assault army with my own drop pod assault army. Turn one really helps decide those games.
