I'm entirely sure what Legion's they'll add in the next box but I think they'll continue the tradition of troops. So I'm thinking Plastic MKIV Assault marines and Recon marines and maybe even a Cortus Contemptor as we have rules but no model in sight at all.

Why a Cortus? If anything, I expect they'd release the Deredeo before covering something new that's that big.

Don't care what world they fight at next, but I'd really like to see some gravbikes and jetpack troops (assault).

My guess is BaC>BoP>Isstvan>Siege of Terra
There's a lot of good suggestions in here but I feel the general audience won't know what most of the more unknown battles.

I've been speculating for awhile that we might see the Rapier make an appearance in 40k for the IG and Marines. I would so be down for it to make its first appearance in a boxed game. Regarding what I think/want the next boxed game to be? The Battle of Ravendelve. Would let us bring Alpha Legion and Raven Guard to the fore, it's another one of those "set within a facility/building" styled boardgames that seem to be the most liked by GW, and would be an interesting thing to do. I could see the box contents as: 1x Praetor with a Jump Pack and a CC loadout. 1x Praetor with a 'ranged' loadout. 2x Moritat(1 for AL, 1 for RG) 10x Reconnaissance Marines(intended to be half and half RG/ AL for the board game) 20x Mark VI Corvus Marines 10x Mark VI Corvus Marines with Jump Packs 10x Seeker Marines in any armor Mark or even maybe a mix. All told, it comes up to: 25 RG and 25 AL before the characters and Moritat get factored in--and then you end up with 27 v 27. I could see the characters being made ala the Prospero ones where they won't ever really show up elsewhere or be proxyable as much else beyond their specific Legion/Chapter later.

I'm saying White Scars or Dark Angels for the imperials. I say this only because they don't have any special models or units from forgeworld. They can use it for a spring board to the newer units. Maybe throw in some heavy weapons units or jump units like what you guys have said.

Word has it that Alan Bligh said that HH8 is going to focus on the Dark Angels and Blood Angels.
Either the book is about two completely unrelated events or it'll probably (I'm guessing) be based Imperial Secundus. I personally think the later is more likely, but I'm just guessing
With that in mind (and the trend of the Boxed Games being related to FW's Black Books), I'm changing my guess from the Thramas Crusade to the Battle of Sotha (DA vs NL).
I know it's basically a non-change as I'm going from a DA vs NL guess to another DA vs NL guess... but I'm bored, slightly tired and excited to see what the future brings.

The big battle between Imperial Secundus and the Night Lords.
UM/DA/IF/AdMech/Loyalist IW vs NL.
The recent novel Pharos focused on it.

If the next book is all about the Angels, then their operations in the Imperium Secundus would make sense, as they still have the Alpha Legion, World Eaters, Word Bearers and Night Lords running rampant across the Five Hundred Worlds, plus who knows what else.
From what I recall, the Thramas Crusade will not be touched upon by FW, nor Signus Prime, as they want to focus on other campaigns and events instead.

Isstvan V, plastic mkVI with alpha legion vs raven guard (both heavily utilise mk VI). raven guard in the box could also allow for plastic assault marines/ any marines with jump packs (destroyers anyone?).
I see mk VI being in the next set given that it is one of the more popular marks of armour.
