You are not a moron. Everybody has done it. It's just something that comes with driving. Over the course of a lifetime of driving the brain farts are inevitable.

Good news is that your parking brake is the rear brake on DS of veh. Your front brakes do most of the work

Thanks for the reponces everyone. It's been a while and there doesn't seem to be any ill effects so everything must be alright!

I'm actually more worried about my own car now; how much it's going to cost to fix and the battery going flat whilst she's laid up on the drive.
