Finally got the whole team finished. Just in time for the Human Ogre to be released! GW will be taking more of my money.

Back to Eldar next. Here is another improved model. My army's paint scheme was black and red. I have thrown in a bit of ushabti bone and i think it sets the red off nicely.

Very nice yeah the bone colour works realy nicely for a bit of contrast.

Doesn't hurt that red and bone is a colour scheme i'm rather attached to

Thanks! Yeah it works really well on your stuff. I think our ratios are almost inverted (mine are more red and yours are more bone).

The Bogenhafen Bandits had their first game tonight. Lost 2-1 against an Orc team. The dice weren't with them, but not bad for a first game.

Thanks, I think I agree with you. I think i will repaint the majority of the Guardians like these two.

Yeah those two are definite standouts, although I must say I think I prefer the middle right-hand one. There's something about asymmetric paint schemes on Eldar that I really like

To clarify, for me the reason I picked the ones I did was because they have more colour variation than the middle two. I find many people tend to paint guardians in a very monochromatic scheme, the higher contrast two-tone scheme I feel works nicely for the guardians and helps them stand out.

Thanks for elaborating! I completely agree, you can see that they were a little dull in just red. Now to paint the other 16, but also have a Farseer Skyrunner to paint next!

Excellent work on the Blood Bowl team, I think the purple and white works really well .

You could use all the variants on the guardians over different squads as a kind of squad marking? (looking good by the way)

I thought about squad markings, but the effect I was going for was a kind of dark red version of Ulthwe, and often you see a number of variations within the squad in Ulthwe armies. This is the first model from the Elven Union team. I went for a really high contrast colour scheme, hope you like it. More to follow.

The team looks fantastic, great colour choices.

Wow fantastic blood bowl teams. The colors look great and are really clean. The basing is really well done. Nice touch with the white lines. Never been a huge fan of Eldar but they look great as well.
