Anyone who reduces any sort of critique to "whining" is not providing any sort of discussion and is effectively straw manning. I would argue anyone who does so is effectively producing a non-thread - one devoid of any intelligent discussion in favour of echo-chamber, or if you will, 'circle jerk' levels of 'discussion. Even if OPs post is lacking in any in depth criticism, to not address his point and instead reduce it (as lacking as it may be) to 'whining" is a sign of a weak position.
