You must pay for the formations and other content outside units for the app, but you do so at a lower price (like 50% I'd say, cannot remember, of the AoS book in question).

Who says that just because armies are in the same book they can ally up with each other? I just find it a good way of combining books so we don't have so many. So we can have 3.

Imperium of Man
Forces of Chaos
Xenos

Maybe have Eldar.

Not very familiar with them so not sure if they really need a separate book so can go in Xeons. Then for armies to ally you have key words who you can ally with.

Someone mentioned we need codices. I say we don't. My reasoning is a lot of people are just cherry picking the best of each book. The purpose of a codex is to take the good with the bad. When you can just take the good with the good, do we really need codices then? Only if we get rid of allies then yes I agree codices are needed. But if we can use allies, then codices are not needed and we can just use the App like they have for Age of Sigmar.

Agies Grimm:The "Learn to play, bro" mentality is mostly just a way for someone to try to shame you by implying that their metaphorical nerd-wiener is bigger than yours. Which, ironically, I think nerds do even more vehemently than jocks.

Everything is made up and the points don't matter. 40K or Who's Line is it Anyway?
