Lots of cool stuff. I like the skeletons coming out of the portal thing.

Real Post this time.
@AmazingTurtles: Thank you. I figure the Bugs will comprise the war machines and such. When I make the nameplate for the army it will be "Bones and Bugs" so I hope to evoke that feeling with the Balefire Bug-a-pults
@Boss Salvage: Yeah it was a snow in! I had t put the free time to good use. I am psyched to see that Gator paint job on the table.
@Ssgt Carl: Cheers! I wanted to use yellow as an accent color but didn't want to commitment it takes with multiple layers. I compromised by going PP's yellow paint pot with a wash then a single highlight. Simple but I like the enormous contrast. It is sort of my style.
@EDC: I do too. The idea is they are being flung out at the enemy. I want a theme that skeletons are the soldiers and the ammunition.

Went ahead and finished the first line of crossbow skellies.

In the back is the second row of these guys. I ran out of arrows so I may just make them empty or I might carve a few. I'm not sure yet.

Also, quick reminder that this army is for the Unplugged GT It is a 2 day tourney put on by a bunch of cool people. If you are in the area, there is a warm up tourney on the 1st. I'll be brawling once or twice before then so hopefully I will have enough practice.

I am realizing my bone giant hasn't gotten much love lately. I'll be working on finishing his sculpting soon.

Till Next Post
