from a modelling perspective i love duplicating heavy weapons and making custom ones but when i have needed to follow wysiwyg i try color match weapons so if every guy has bolters some of them i will paint to look like plasma guns or flamers i feel its enough to get past the issue. but im not sure how you would paint a missle pod color on a crisis suit. Gw is being a bad supplier imo theres no way they dont have enough profit to add all options to a kit. we should make a group and over throw them and start producing content correctly. I suggest militant violence.

For a long time, there was little reason to be duplicating Weapons on a Crisis Suit sprue. If you had modeled two of a Weapon, they were one Twin-Linked Weapon that took up two of the three precious slots. Being able to shoot two weapons required a Wargear slot at the time, so its either two separate Weapons firing both, or a twin-linked Weapon that you fired at a different time.

And it is rare when they change the sprue to meet up with the expectations of the codex (hello Tyranid Spike Rifle) , but they are more likely to change the codex to meet up with the expectations of the sprue.

Are you a Wolf, a Sheep, or a Hound?

Honestly as a Tau player I know the lack of weapons is frusterating. Cyclic ion rifles don't even come in the new kit. I just make them all plasmas and say all plasmas are cyclic ion rakers. My chaos termies, same issue. So if one has a combi melta then all have a combination melta and use them at the same time to limit confusion. But I agree some effort should be made if you want to have squads with different weapon options internal. Chaos havocs have same issue. Can't even model fifteenth because the models come pre fit with one of each weapon therefore when I pay points I either give them one of each or I make them all launchers and let my opponent know. Common sense is the rule IMO

Bac kits and. May be answer to missile lauchchers anyway. Models for mkiv.
Trade for the excess parts, one sprue for bodies. Some chaos bits. That or use a casic kit of chaos marines for bodies and trade for some jersey era launchers.

Bingo. You got full hanoc squad.

Sgt. Vanden - OOC Hey, that was your doing. I didn't choose to fly in the "Dongerprise'.

I have no clue how Dakka's moderation work. I expect it involves throwing a lot of d100 and looking at many random tables.

FudgeDumper - It could be that you are just so uncomfortable with the idea of your chapters primarch having his way with a docile tyranid spore cyst, that you must deny they have any feelings at all.
