I finally finalized my color scheme! Finally!

With that in mind, here's my first missile launcher team!

Spoiler:

Here's a shot of them on an old school project that can potentially double as a piece of (probably 15mm) terrain!

Spoiler:

My previous test model left a lot to be desired, but with these models I made use of Zenithal highlighting and contrast paints, as well as some standard paints here and there (mostly by Vallejo). I figure I should be able to bust out a squad a week if I put my mind to it!

So it's definitely been a hot minute since I've posted here. I have a new painting method for my main army, and it's actually quick and easy. But enough of that now.

At long last, after she's been in several battles and had some awesome moments, Captain Arcadia von Tanne has been painted, long overdue in my humble opinion!

Spoiler:

Additionally, I've assembled 3 veteran squads, which will deploy to battle with Hades Breaching Drills.

Spoiler:

I don't have too many more words to be honest. It's been over a year since I last updated, and I let my army stagnate a bit because I let myself get trapped in a "can't play with them until they're painted because of transparent bases", so I'm going to ditch the transparent base idea. We going with trench bases now!

My next task is to paint the veteran squads and move on. I also changed the primary gun, because the Dinsmore lasgun from Mad Robot Miniatures is awesome.

I'll be equipping and basing squads more rapidly than before. Thanks to oil washes, I'll massively speed up my painting workflow too.

Smitty out!
