There are lots of unkillable deathstars, but without hit and run, you'll just get tar pitted. Besides you already voided your point when you brought in allies, any faction can get carried with the strong enough allies. The hard fact is that any faction that could ally with grey knights, would probably be better off without the grey knights.

You have guaranteed Gate of Infinity, which can be used to bounce you out of undesirable combats. So no the unit won't get tarpitted. The scouts have teleport homer for safe redeploy.

Allies are 6 models, it's hardly a majority space marine army.

Not seen it in action, but I can believe that GK, with allied in Tiggy + grav cent star with Draigo +Stern tanking power is an obscene combo.

But my original point as a blood angels player, the OP can probably come up with a decent playable majority blood angel list, that will do well enough against most armies just by bringing Tiggy or a superfriends bike star.

Plz don't bring allies into a discussion about how good 1 codex is.

Being able to ally in Tigurius does not make BA or Gk good, it means Tigurius is stupidly good and can fix glaring issues elsewhere.

Being able to ally in the renegades or demons listsdoes not make CSM good.

The question was really, can you make a low model count army work. The answer is yes, there are cheesy armies out there that are very low model count.

My example could work non-summoning but really gains it's power if you have also 100+ horror models of different colors. As a low model count army it is still stupid strong.
