What exactly is it about chaos fluff you don't like?

I think its because they are traitors, i don't like that. I usually play the good guy in a role playing game, but i have no problem with the evil fluff of dark eldar or any other races. I just cant find myself enjoying playing as chaos

A lot of CSM have embraced the 'evil' of chaos but a lot are still renegades and just fight the Imperium because they do not agree with the Imperium, do not trust them or both. Personally I don't play 'good' armies because I don't believe any 40k armies are actually good and those that claim to be are lying. I like chaos because they do not pretend to be saints or heroes, they know who they are and they know what they want.

I agree. Closest thing to a "neutral" faction, ironically, would be Tyranids. Incapable of even understanding the concepts of "good" or "evil", they simply "are", existing only to feed. As far as variation goes, they have the ability to be be quite varied, if not very competitive.

Not all CSM worship Chaos, some just don't want to worship the Emperor anymore. You could Play them as pirates or something.

That being said, I've always felt that the IG were really versatile.

I do like guard as well, but wouldn't want them as my main or first army. Id do them as a secondary army of traitor guard or gue vesa
