It's basically a tower defense game mode. I've ceased playing the other Titanfall MP modes in favor of this. The campaign is no slouch either(but no coop).
They're planning on adding more of the MP maps to the Frontier Defense playlist, but they're balancing the enemy compositions to match the map style and so it's taking a bit. We get our second set of maps tomorrow, bringing the map count up to 7(3 new ones tomorrow and 4 currently).
OMG you beauty! I completely forgot about this. Loved this mode in the original and the campaign was class, just don't have time to invest in multiplayer anymore so stopped playing a month or so after. Updating Origin as I type!
