Ancient Sub now Unlocked!

Hi all,

We're still moving along slowly but surely, so I decided to unlock the Ancient's sub, the Sea Wraith and set at $13500, which we had crossed a couple of hours before going back a bit, I hope this entices a few more backers or maybe makes some folks want to upgrade their pledge.



This model is already being sculpted and I was hoping to have a WIP version soon but it may have to wait for a few more days. Still, has always been planned for production so it is good to have it officially unlocked now.

The other stretch goals have all been moved up by $1000, so hopefully we can unlock some more over the next 20 hours.

One more stretch goal added, Vanguard Scout

One more miniature was added to the stretch goals, the Vanguard Scout for the Dark Mariners.

WIP sneak peek of Sea Wraith

Here is a sneak peek at the Sea Wraith 3D sculpt. The part most complete so far is the main Beam Cannon, a deadly and accurate weapon.


As you can see, the main sub is still being worked, but this is the nature of 3D sculpting, rough shapes at first.

Robo fish unlocked!

We crossed $15000 and have now unlocked the Carangaform Mech shoal. This will be a large group of mecha-fish that fit upon a 50mm round base.

From the Blood Reef book:

"These shoals of small mechanical constructs are dangerous in the narrow channels of Blood Reef. They swarm around targets, slashing with sharp teeth and fins and leave victims torn to pieces, drifting with the tide."

Now unlocked - The Deepstar Kraken

We just unlocked the Deepstar Kraken, a monstrous squid that prowls the Drop Off of Blood Reef. Lying in wait in the darkness, this giant monster of the seas is able to hypnotize prey with a brilliant display of flashing lights all over its body. Sea Shamans can summon them so they can be used in battle. This model will be cast in resin and 150mm long (if tentacles were stretched out fully), with a detailed coral base, not including the Sea Dog shown here. The tentacles will be curved and moved in a dynamic pose so the model balances on the base.

Big Finish!

That you all so much for backing this project! The finish was spectacular and we were able to unlock the third submersible, the Coelomech for the Dark Mariners, and a Hero Sea Goblin model for the Neried force, Snortgut the Terrible. Both will be highly detailed resin models.

We will have a pledge manager up soon so people can add these models if they were not able to before, and new people can back the project.

Pitch-in page unlocks the Storm Warrior!

We have reached $1000 for the Pitch-in pledge manager page and now unlocked one more stretch goal, the Sea Goblin Storm Warrior. These are elite troops for the Sea Goblins and heavily armored and armored. They are Steadfast in battle, gaining +1 to Morale Checks and making them hard to cause to flee the battle when things go badly.

Backers can add Storm Warriors to their pledges with an additional $10 or 1 point. To add the $10, just go and pledge in the Pitch-in page below and send a message to us here to let us know to add the miniature to your pledge.
