I don't know much about South Bend, but I can tell you about Indiana. The state is actually doing pretty well for itself right now, despite the job losses from Carrier. You will also be in the midwest, where some of the best food in the country is made. Do yourself a favor and find a place that makes a good, quality pork burger. You are welcome.

I went to Colorado State in Fort Collins, Colorado. It's a fine university. The town in nice, friendly and has a great after hours scene downtown. A new stadium was just completed next to campus. What is it that you want to study?
