I feel Dark Eldar are better than ever.
Still a lot of crap entries but assuming you go with venom spam+as much lance as necessary, like you have been playing since at least 5th, its pretty good.

Not sure its a good tourney army though because you can be badly hurt by an alpha strike.

Alot of CWE looks over costed to me. Harlequins seem very expensive too. I can see them working well against elite armies, but against anything they can't gut in a turn they will just get shot down.

Which is where Ynnari come in.

It's nice that you have opponents that just stand there and let you drive up and hit them with multiple S10 weapons.....

I am well aware that Wraithguard in Wave Serpants are excellent, but that doesn't change the fact that with a 12 or 8" range on their guns and having to get out before the taxi moves you need to think carefully about what you're doing with them so that they are not left swinging in the wind.

You get a 3" disembark followed by a 5" move and an optional D6 Advance since they are armed with Assault weapons. That gives a CannonGuard 20+D6" threat range and ScytheGuard 16+D6". Add to that the Serpent itself can move fairly quickly if it needs to. Opponents may not be able to back-pedal fast enough to get out of the danger zone.

And if they do pull back, you can still shoot at them with the Serpent's weapons while they will be out of range of any melta or flamer weapons they may have and also outside double-tap range of any Rapid Fire weapons they may be carrying. Plus they will also be abandoning any cover they may be in or objectives they may be holding. If your opponent just spends the game running away from you, they have basically surrendered the initiative to you.

And that is just one Serpent. As soon as you have multiples, you can start thinking about cutting off lines of retreat.
