I know, that's why I said most top teir or army's that dominate.

AoS is interesting because there seems to be a distinct divide between competitive-minded armies and casual-minded ones with relatively few people landing in between.

I chose an avatar I feel best represents the quality of my post history.

I try to view Warhammer as more of a toolbox with examples than fully complete games.

Oddly enough you are right, there are really one two groups. Power gamers who make too tier lists. Or people who don't give a crap about it and just make an army based around cool units and that's it. I have yet to meet players who claim a "fluffy" list or any thing of the sort.

To be fair there isn't a lot of fluff yet and history to make those tyes of lists. I think you'll see it more as the game gets flushed out and more "battles" as recorded and forces and such.

Personally I really enjoy aos. And locally we've had the same guys winning whether they bring soft or hard lists. I think the there isn't much tactical depth and that lists dominate instead of players is a bit off. There is a lot there in my opinion. It's going to be my primary game after nova is over. And that's only because the ghb 2 came out one week to late.

I enjoy both the casual and competitive side, but I am fortunate enough to have a community that knows the difference. But lists I bring to regular games I wouldn't bother bringing to a tournament, while my friends literally won't play against my tournament lists on a normal day even if I tried to bring them.
