Really? Aw, that's unfortunate. :(
(Though I guess I can see how you could be a downer there. Though really you're that way about everything so it shouldn't really count as that bad. )

This seems rather pointless. People outside GW shouldn't be awarded seals of approval from GW, as that comes with quite a few problems in and of itself, including putting pressure on them to be less objective and more pro-GW.
The people inside GW aren't included in thism but they're the ones who already have (and should have, obviously) GW's seal of approval. You don't expect Duncan to criticise GW's hobby products, because you know he's getting paid to promote their product. As long as that's clear, there's no problem, but let's not blur the lines with awards to people like Atom Smasher.
For the record, I enjoy both Duncan and Uncle Atom.

Eh i don't think its pointless. It is a popularity contest yes, and will likely largely go to reward the top podcasts, but I don't see any issue with that.
For my money I'd go with Bottle. I always encourage homebrew rules to add on to the core game, because the systems that GW produces scream for houseruled add-ons (in fact, the devs themselves encourage it) and the Hinterlands was an excellent example of what fan-based content can look like if only players would be more open to embracing such things.
I'd also nod at Mr. Curry because I can understand the nasty toxic waste that was thrown his way, as when Azyr (my Azyr not the thing GW later implemented) was at its high point, I got a lot of hate mail and even had a guy wish cancer on me for supporting AOS, so... it is often a thankless effort to do the work that Ben has done to push the community in a positive note and I applaud that.

Bottle is now staff, so can't be nominated.

MongooseMatt deserves a nomination, no doubt. The guy has driven engagement with AoS like no one else has, and that’s saying something, considering the others mentioned here have obviously put in a ton of great work.

There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.

Hope he makes it to the top there.

Bottle for CEO. I can see it. Hinterlands becomes the main way to play AoS. And we all love him for that.

I saw the winners for Europe announced and my first reaction was WHO? then I had to do a bit more research. James Clark seems a worthy addition for the work he has done on SBG but dont know who the rest are. Can someone enlighten me?

I know two of the people. I know James and have played some games with him. Personally I think the whole GBHL should have gotten a nomination, but I can understand James with his setup and running of Ardacon the past couple of years. Jind Singh is also a very strong advocate for LotR and his work has seen it boost too, so that's why he was awarded.
