Ok so after some maths and wallet searching I can get:
arjac
a wolf lord
10xgrey wolfs
5x wolfguard termies
3x thunder wolves
2x razorbacks
or
Iron Priest
a wolf lord
10xgrey wolfs
Venerable dread (SW)
3x thunder wolves
2x razorbacks
Hows that?
and if you would be able to recommend what to equip them with it would be great

I am a sucker for dreadnoughts my self. You could get the dreadnought and use it as Bjorn to see how the unit works (hint, he works AWESOME).
Are you buying new or used? Online or in store?

Wolf Guard Terminators come with one shield per body (so 5 in a set) and may not always use them, so it's a pretty decent source of shields if you are using some or know someone who has them and didn't use the shields.
Actually there are 4 shields in a box of terminators, but they should be more than enough anyway.
Huh, you're right. The sprue only has 4 shields on it. I wonder why I have 5 spare shields then.

Hell, I'm not that bothered by the Stormraven. Why? Because, as it stands right now, it's "limited use".When it's shoehorned in to the Codex: Space Marines, then yeah. I'll be irked.
When I'm editing alot, you know I have a gakload of homework to (not) do. |

Venerable dreads with axe and shield are pretty monstrous once they reach combat.
Really either of those lists should do well as a start.

Cool. I get a lot of stuff from ebay, Frontline gaming. They always have a lot of space marine stuff for cheap.
