Subject: If you had to roll low would you still play?
The issue for me is it starts to feel like THAC0. When you want to roll low there is a natural limit to how low you can roll before things get weird and you start factoring in negatives. When you have to roll high you can always add more.

These are my opinions. This is how I feel. Others may feel differently. This needs to be stated for some reason.

I don't like any of the choices. If the designers just flipped the rolls for no apparent reason, I'd probably quit at least for awhile due to the silliness of the change. I have no problem with targeting low or high rolls or a game having an arbitrary mix, but I don't like change for the sake of change.

yeah. It really doesn't matter that much for an assault army. You either make an unlikely charge (because you need to kill bauble wrap first) and you get a chance of winning or you don't and you don't. There's not much else you can do cause there are no tactical possibilities in the game.
