Cultist is looking horrible (in a good way!).

I couldn't manage as fine a hand as you did on your ganger, but here is a pic of the touched up Fleet Officer (counts as Officer of the Fleet):

I like it a lot better- the darker black and the red make it pop, I think (although the other colors, more drab, somber, were a lot more survivable!).

I have to chuckle a bit, because one of the first tricks the guy who taught me how to paint Napoleonics gave was outlining in black! After years (decades) of more or less just Imperial Guard and doing everything in camo or greens, I forgot some of the flamboyant basics!

Krrp up your own good work here!

Monkeytroll - thanks. My son really enjoys painting. He tells me I’m a nerd cause I like to put them togeather. I can’t wait for the outsider gang rules. Then I can get the old kit bashing and converting engine running again. I still have that rokket boy from years ago you made for the great Ork swap. Love your crazy mind comes up with all those concersions.

Meer-cat - That looks great. Love how the red trim pops. I’m the same way as well. I’ll forget a technique and rediscover it again later. That’s why I love this site. I can go back and see what I started with or remember how I did something or even from others. I’ve learned a bunch just from watching and following other progress.

Youwashock - thanks. I based it in flayed ones flesh and when washed it with the purple wash and finished it off with a thinned downed flayed ones flesh. But yea I’m really thinking yellow eyes. Just have to do
It.

Again thanks everyone who has been checking it out.
