Hi S,

I would think another application of black (with a bit thicker paint) would cover them. But, it’s your decicision, your time, so go for it.
Probably only the Rhino’s would need doing, but if you’d be happier with stripping them all, crack on.
You may find some of the infantry come unglued, but that can be put right.
When spraying, several light coats from different angles works better than one, heavy coat. You may still need to touch up with brush paint to catch all the model.

Prime it black but paint it afterwards (either black or dark grey, your choice).

The primer will help the paint stick and will make it much easier to get a nice smooth finish.

I wouldn't recommend using the primer as a base coat though. When you go outside the lines painting in the details you won't have a matching paint to use for touch up.
