That is simple you charge them from out of range. After all I have 3d6 to charge range.

Yeah, no one else gets that, and it makes things very difficult.

- You have to decide whether to shoot or charge.
- You have to make either a 9/10" charge in most cases, and even with the reroll that's difficult.
- You could use your pistol, but that's generally a poor idea to since you'll likely get roasted next turn.

People seem to barely remember to shoot their pistols in melee in 8th edition games... I don’t think it’s a big deal TBH.

It is for DW. The DW primaris have to take pistols, on top of their guns, and they are stupidly expensive. End result - you have to take junk you will almost never use, ending up with ranged gear on your model costing more than plasma gun even though it's just a bolt rifle. Funnily enough, that makes reiver sergeant cheapest (and best) DW reiver to field because he is the only one who can take rifle plus blade dropping useless unlike his subordinates...

It is kinda bizarre. Most weapons seen to be way cheaper in the Kill Team, yet SIA bolt weapons are more expensive than in 40K. Granted, they're too cheap in 40K, but still weird.

I’m not going to get upset over a couple points but hey that’s me.

Bow down to Guilliman for he is our new God Emperor!

Martel - "Custodes are terrible in 8th. Good luck with them. They take all the problems of marines and multiply them."

"Lol, classic martel. 'I know it was strong enough to podium in the biggest tournament in the world but I refuse to acknowledge space marines are good because I can't win with them and it can't possibly be ME'."

DakkaDakka is really the place where you need anti-tank guns to kill basic dudes, because anything less isn't durable enough.
