I'm really surprised to have come first - I thought Midget Gems was winning last time I checked. Thanks for the votes, if you voted for me, and congrats to everyone who entered, and particularly Midget and Modock. It was a great month, and any one of half a dozen or more would have been a worthy winner.

Cogrants Felt and MG, well done you two! Great entries all-around, I'm particularly fond of Rouven's crawler.
Yeah Felt, you took the lead at the end, It was a tight battle.

Thanks Dakkanauts for every vote and comment.

Congrats everyone a really good month

Well done Felt and Modock, an honour to be between you

The voting was close only ever 1- 2 votes in it, I was watching it over the last day, Felt went ahead with about 18 hours to go and I was praying for an extra vote but didn't get the 1 needed to draw :( I was also hoping Rouven would draw 3rd and then there would be loads of us on the podium which would have reflected the good quality of this months entries. I'll do the table over the weekend.

Very happy I got second though, thank you all very much

Midget Gems: One thing that I'm scratching my head for is the wolf head on the sword handle...feels a bit lost...

Aye I was thinking it didn't quite blend into the piece maybe needed to weather it the same as the rest of the model or battle damage it, it came about because I was looking for a pommel and that was sat on my desk staring at me.

Midget Gems - With the photo though, did you use a light with a slight orange tint? There seems to be an orange glow to it that isn't just the (beautifully applied) rust effects.

Yes but that is just my light set up (its more noticeable on a black background) I have several random lights all with different bulbs in, white, daylight, LED, old filament ones. I know I should sort it out to make it more consistent its just a fair way down the to do list.

Congratulation to all the winners! And thanks for the votes and the comments! 8th alongside Paradigm and Tim 121RVC. Not bad at all.
And it seem like I was right about the winners

Straken619: Man he's got a lot of skulls hanging around! Is the sword painted all in the same colour? Hard to tell, but it seems like it.

I painted the blade dark grey and then drybrushed it with metal and the other part I just painted metal. But it turned out almost the same thats why Im not sure I like it.

Straken619 - A mad-looking thing. How big is it? It looks about a foot tall. Nice details on the face, and the cloak is good.

Thanks man. He is actually just slightly taller that other 75mm I have. But he is a lot more muscular so if he is standing next to another 75mm model he stil looks intimidating.
