So elasticity doesn't apply to this market for some reason? Why not?

Saddly tho, they are not crappier (You can get better quality 3rd party). I did buy from FW in the past, (I wont now mostly b.c they dont care go read my other comment, and 2ndly b.c they are not good quality).

My Tantalus from FW themselves took 11hrs to build, i had to cut, sand, soak in extreme hot water to rebind piece by piece, literally pinned almost every piece and FINALLY the sails where broken, I email FW and they responded that all the sails are like that (some parts didnt even have enough resin to keep it together), how sad is it that all the sails are hot garbage....... oh PS NO BASE......... WTF?!? Why cant they supply bases?

Building is a hobby, fixing broken material is not.

There is a recaster i go through now for models i want for fun (I try to not play FW models now mostly, but for fun games i will) and the quality is better i some ways (sure its about 15% more brittle but the casts are literally better)

Mechanicum stuff isn't, despite them promising years ago that it would. But I really don't believe there is any conspiracy going on either, if there was someone higher up who had power to dictate to FW what to do then they definitely would have the power to fire their director or whatever too. I just think that the reason for all this nonsense is that the people running FW are idiots.

Just because people have different opinions on morality doesn't mean it's meaningless to talk about it. Mostly because there's a REASON some people believe it is immoral, and talking about that reason is important.

Let me recast this. Since morality changes from person to person it is not the best way to approach this subject. People who don't care about piracy are not going to be shamed. So its kinda pointless to talk about it.

For me it's one thing to buy a recast of a model that FW currently produces vs buying a recast/alternative of something that GW/FW doesn't but still has rules. FW has purged a ton of models in the last two to three years and that's a shame. I get why they did it for economic reasons but If a knock off is my only way to get a certain unit then what else am i supposed to do?
