A bit late to the party but..

I like the 6th Ed much more. But it is a bit hit and miss, some stuff is trash some are decent. I think I liked the general tone of it more, the artwork and the models (old cannon, metal longbeards etc)
The next book changed alot of that.

As for Longbeards, might be unfluffy but i spammed the gak out of them. It is not a good idea, cheaper Warriors are good for you. I just liked the models.. But it cost me a lot of bodies on the table.
If you argue it is wrong fluffwise. Sure. i buy that. But calling it OP.. No.

The War of the Beard list in 6th Ed. is kinda cool by the way..
