Ive never been tabled. I am sure someone will do it to me someday.

My opponent spanked me the last time I played him....I had a much weaker list and he was using his Deathwatch very effectively. I still had well over 70% of my list when I had lost.

This time he played a gunline. Advanced his Zoanathropes with his Nuerothrope and Tyrant following suit. He did not do much to move his 50 model blob till I had turn the tide, even though I had only Rangers to deep strike and nothing to challenge that side of the board. So yes...He is a decent player but he played the mission poorly with his list. No stroking there...just calling it.

It baffles me how players say they got tabled b4 their turn 1.
a) Terrain is part of the game....use it.
b) If you see your opponent has an army in your face....proper deployment can help....perhaps don't put units in Reserves if you don't have enough model count on the board.
C) List building can mitigate getting blown off the board.

I really want to see a tabled game....I just haven't had my eyes exposed to it.
