I had the blessing of the dice gods once. I was rewarded for it by the wreath of the campaign organiser.
Back in old Necromunda, second last round of the campaign. I was up against a gang with a massive rating and my gang was just about bottom of the pile. I think the gang rating difference was 3:1 or worse.
I went with the hit as the mission. Got the one where slaying the opponent's leader is the goal. Deployed second in a spot where my leader could see his. Move, fire my bolter:
6 to hit
6 for ammo check
6 to wound
6 to take out of action
Won the match with a single shot.
He complained and the organiser retroactively banned the mission type and we had to play some mission from the supplements which was basically a straight up gang fight which I had no way of winning.

I had my venerable contemptor dread charge y friends hellbrute. All good.

Roll 1,1,1,2. Urgh.

Then roll 1 to wound.

My dread got demolished.

I once fired an entire ten man tactical squad and none hit with their bolt guns.
