I’ve found the plastic glue works so far for me without issue.

They do make an acrylic glue that might work better. I used some when I based my mansions of madnes minis on clear bases and honestly I forgot I had it until right now.

I’ll try it myself when I do the suppressors. They just arrived for me today.

I bet a lot of the complaints are just due to modelers being impatient because these take longer to set than the normal GW plastic to plastic and it’s a lot of relative weight on the join while it’s setting.

No, it's not impatient modellers. They're a completely gak design. Not a single person in the internet has knowingly stated otherwise.

I hate them they are a pain to get to stick and are way less durable.

You can't use plastic glue on them - has to be super glue. The trick is to design a prop system using paint cans/olg glue containers/ dirty socks so you can hold it in position without holding it.

I use plastic cement on them, works fine. You want blue tac to hold for drying, way easier than what you are suggesting!

Honestly, I don't have a problem with these stands at all.

Wrong, I have, they're fine.

Please don't devolve the thread into a petty argument please. I'd rather not have the entire thread locked.

To be fair, a couple of people have already spoken up in favour of them, so it's not accurate to say that. However, I don't think it's fair either to dismiss complaints due to impatient modelers. Already over 100 people have responded to the poll, and the overwhelming majority have come out against the stands. I don't think it's fair to say that patience the virtue of solely the six or so respondents who voted yes so far, and even if it was, having a product which only a tiny proportion of users like or can use effectively is still fairly damning of that product, whatever their reasons.

96 to 9 against, so far. A fairly overwhelming response. If enough people respond, I think it might be worth sharing with Games-Workshop. Not that I think it would have any impact on anything already released or already scheduled for release, but it might encourage them to take a second look at anything that's still in the design phase.
