Sisters of Battle were used for sexual gratification purpose.
That was before they were "Sisters of Battle" IIRC though. What was they called under Vandire ?
Brides of the Emperor. And before Vandire they were called Daughters of the Emperor.
I always liked that it took 200 years for the Admech to sanctify/certify the Predator Annihilator, and by then the Marine Chapters had been using it for the past 190 years.

Raven guard? Because i watched TTS and it matches their primarch and emo looking style.
I believe Beersarius is referring to Dante - his self-titled novel certainly gives that impression in places, but I think his outlook has changed by the end of it.
Maybe its true but he dont want to die. He killed every enemy of mankind from Carnifexes to Administratum desks. He suffers from blood hunger but he is rather ok with it.
I'm not sure about "Ok with it" he states time and again, that his service has been long and wishes it would end. He doesn't take his helmet of in public anymore. (Coz so old) I think its more about recognition that the symbol of Sanguinius's face provides the Imperium with reassurance, and he will not shirk his duties.
Necron Warriors were the citizens of the Necrontyr while Immortals were originally the standard foot soldiers.
The Grey Knights sent about 200 (or close to 1/5 of the chapter's total manpower) to fight Angron and a hoard of Khorne deamons. Less then a dozen survived and this single event eventually sparked a small war between Inquisition and the Space Wolfs.
You can recharge a Lazgun's ammo pack by throwing it into a fire.
A disk of Tzeentch is actually multiple screamers melded together. The act of creating one usually kills the summoner.
Ironstriders cannot be turned off so herds of them run around Mars. When needed they are put on giant treadmills until they are released into battle.

Dogs outrank privates in the IG.
A little more than that. Canids also hold officer-status, meaning that striking one is equivalent to assault on an officer, and so is accordingly the punishment.

the blistering speed of mechanocracy.
Squats and Orks used to be friends.
Squats are the reason they went from MKII to MKIII.
Lictors are not multiple creatures, but a single creature with multiple bodies. It is an hive mind within the hive mind that for some reason can control all its bodies at a far greater distance than the hyve fleets.

Spoilers from Devastation of Baal:
Spoiler:
Dante is clearly depicted as looking for a way to end his duty, and is quite displeased when he gets saved from death's grasp after duelling the swarmlord.

You are not wrong. But idea of space janitors is really interesting! I mean someone must clean up those bodies after invasion.

To clarify - this was during the "First" War for Armageddon, where Angron and the World Eaters invaded the planet.
After Angron was banished by the Grey Knights, and the Chaos forces retreated/were driven off, the =][= wished to use its traditional means of covering up a Chaos invasion - eliminate all the human witnesses. Logan objected to the soldiers which fought with him being murdered out of hand, and that is what sparked the conflict between the Wolves and the =][=.

Right now, there is a small Waagh! of orks who fight every day against the Daemons and every night are resurrected by Khorne as they serve as an eternal source of entertainment for the Lord of Skulls.
And it's totally not Orky Valhalla, not at all! (Good god the Orks must be the size of stompas!)
Not sure how 'trashy' this is, but the door to the tomb of Sanguinius on Baal opens when Commander Dante sticks the flesh of his hand/arm into the lock, and the lock shoots needles into him to test the genetic make-up of his blood and flesh.

I like the fact that the Tyranids only came to the Milky Way because of a specific Night Lords vs Ultramarines battle that took place before Horus reached Terra during the Heresy.

Angron the World Eater's Daemon Primarch was named after the landlord of a nottingham pub GW staff used to goto at lunch. He was called 'Ron' who was always Angry - Angron.
Attack bikes and Eldar Vyper jet bikes were released at the same time.
You used to be able to punch a hole in scenery to fire through it. Coins were used as a size guide.
4 Lascannon predators were called predator annihilators (prob still are) and could only be taken by space wolves
one of the few rules Khorne Berzkers used to have was they armour of khorne which game you a 2+ save instead of a 3+.
You used to be able to fire a terminator's cyclone missiles in one 12 missile salvo, it created a 3" template, which at the time was huge and scary. If you terminator had and assault cannon and you rolled a tripple on it's jam dice that terminator blew up as assault cannons were considered 'new technology'
Orks used to be armed with bolters

When they were released during 2nd edition, aye - the Vyper was completely plastic, while the Attack Bike was a plastic/metal hybrid. However, there had been a metal Attack Bike in Rogue Trader.

Dark angels green was/still is the shade of British racing green because one of the studio liked it and/or had a car that colour (maybe jervis?)
chaos marines don't have plasma cannons because the technology was 'new' in 30k, only bulkier things like deads could support the power suppluies which were bigger at the time. Plasma weps in 2ed were even less reliable on chaos

Those are Space Wolves who “acquired” Blood Angel armor as part of a dare from Russ after hearing the “Levi” story.
It's amazing to me this company became so popular with such crappy sculpts.
