I just want to point out that a planet of mere 8 million souls had managed to kill or put out of action 14 million soldiers. They had killed almost as much people in battle as we did during WW2. By comparison, it would be like entire world hanging up on Greece and would only capable of finally defeating it after almost 18 years of intense fighting with all the lopsided industrial advantage for aggressors like it would be in real life. No matter how you look it, THAT was damn impressive display from defenders.
