I forgot one thing, at 13 seconds you can see terminator just dying from random attack. That is a psychic spell capable of penetrating any armor and usually just outright killing opponent. I can't now pin down what it is exactly, but it highlights just how absolutely deadly trained sorcerer is. These attacks are easy enough to be used as their main method of attack. Just sending bolts of warp energy instantly killing whatever it hits. I also had figured out that in last video those two psykers were not casting any spells outside of their shields. What they did to space marines were primary through their raw power of their minds. They could stop charging Astartes with a gesture. Break their bones and armor with brief look. Ignore bolter and plasma fire. Briefly stun Adeptus Astartes themselves with their telekinetic blasts of energy.

During Burning of Prospero, there is an entry where one psyker let loose and started wrecking gak. Space Wolves to him started to look as bunch as savages beneath him. He could wreck battle tanks with easy. He single handedly pushed Space Wolves assault on his position. Only then he realized that he drank too much. That warp energy was pouring into him at greater and greater rate and he lacked willpower to close that connection. Quickly his mind filled with too much unused warp energy and he exploded, leaving demon portal in his place. Even in death he was extremely useful as he had allowed hundreds if not thousands of reinforcements to come.

You can imagine that a well trained, powerful psyker can just kill any lesser opponent outright. He can lift charging carnifex and break every bone in him with motion of his palm. A psyker single handedly can wash away endless waves of charging beasts with flooding the area with warp energy as shown here at 0:56:

In lore psykers from Chaos forces are hired to break sieges through channeling immensely powerful blasts to fortress walls. Video is not from Warhammer, but an entry in lore looked very similar, except they had hired them as extremely regarded and respected specialists. Though, I do appreciate treatment of this psyker witch and in this video. I get all dark eldar vibes from this video. Take a look yourselves at 2:07.

Keep in mind the relative power levels; a regular human may be utterly screwed against a sanctioned psyker but they are equally screwed by the likes of a storm trooper or even just an ork boy. At least the psyker has a chance of blowing his own head up.

There is also a story where even Magnus was a helpless child against a bigger psyker entity than himself. He was manhandled without much of a fight, subdued and helpless until writer realized that he wrote himself into the corner and produced the thicc'est plot armor I ever had seen. He essentially had said: "please stop being evil and be nice". Psychic God had agreed and Mangus had won.

In lore, I find that successful and powerful psykers are only defeated by their own hubris and arrogance. Magnus did not bothered to do any preparations at all when going to engage something which had became a God. His home planet in Thousands Sons novel was also remarked as remarkably unprepared for war. From its own defenses to no prepared spells for war. Magnus is often critiqued for studying more arcane and abstract aspects of a warp while ignoring more pragmatic and useful aspects of warfare, industry, etc. There was another story in soul drinkers novel where another Emperor level psyker was born. He had tried single handedly conquer Imperium. He was quite successful conquering Imperium all by itself until he was engaged by Soul Drinkers chapter. From what I remember, psyker did not bothered to prepare any spells, he relied upon his bodyguards to safekeep him. Even in video where Astartes fought these two psykers, you can see that they did not bothered to prepare for a fight. All they had casted was their kinetic shield around them. Other than that they were using just their raw power of their minds.
