Stashed too far back in a closet to pull out/photo I've got a box that contains the following;

* a 1st ed box of of Battle Fleet Gothic - MIB, complete with shrinkwrap.
The group at the local shop was keen on running a campaign involving both space & ground battles. Several of us bought boxes (some split contents). We planned a BF Gothic evening to try the rules etc. I ended up having to work & missed it. Apparrently everyone HATED it & by the next week the campaign had been revamped for just the 40k side.

* a MIB copy of Dread Fleet, still in shrinkwrap
Cousins got it for me that year for Christmas. They thought it looked cool & had no idea there was less than zero interest in my area for this game. And they don't play games beyond XBox/Trivial Pursuit themselves.... But it's the though that counts.

* 3 FW Necron Pylons. All MIB.
I was heading to GamesDay Baltimore when they were new. Saw them on FW, saw that they were a heavy support option. Figured "Great, something different than my very boring Monoliths!"
Bought 3 at the show.
Returned home Sunday evening, printed out their rules & saw that sometime between Fri afternoon & Sunday evening FW had changed them to Super Heavies. Grrr.
Well that's just great.... because the circle I was playing in at the time was 100% NO SUPER HEAVIES.

* an entire Kislev army for Warmaster. NMIB - this is actually an improvement vs how GW sent them to me
Small interest at local shop in Warmaster. GW releases the Kislev army though special Order as one entire bundle deal. Wanting something different than everyone else....
It arrived as 1 giant 5lb bag of mixed pieces in a mailer envelope. Interest in WM died before I ever got it all sorted out & unbent. So I finished sorting/straightening it into separate baggies, put it in a small box & put it into storage.

*a metal Blood Bowl Lizardman team from when they were a Special Order item. MIB And several sets of rules for them as the years/editions passed.
My buddy Sean was always going to run a BB League. So in the event this ever actually occurred I picked this team up. I'd have had it painted up within a week if he'd ever gotten his league going. Well Sean's dead now & no one in my current circles has the least interest in BB.

Are they metal genestealers? I don’t remember them at all, all my genestealers were plastic.

Not mini related, directly, but I did pick this up a convention years ago.

For being all the way from 2nd edition, It is in really good shape. I try my best to treat it with kit gloves and keep it clean/safe from harm. Probably my second favorite non-gaming 40k related item I own.

My overall favorite, however, is this:

Life-sized bolter shell, which was the first place prize for a tournament I attended over Warlords Weekend when 4th edition 40k launched. It's a fun little trophy that sits prominently on my desk.

Those are my contributions. Take it easy.

You don't know me son, so I'll explain this to you once: If I ever kill you, you'll be awake, you'll be facing me, and you'll be armed.

Yes, they are metal Genestealers. I believe, but am not sure, that they predate the old Space Hulk plastic ones. The plastic arms they have were also used for the old metal Genestealer hybrids.

And They Shall Not Fit Through Doors!!!

They must be from around the same time as the old metal Genestealer Primarch - I ordered one of those for a converted Genestealer Cult army way back in 2nd ed times. These were probably in the catalogue too but I was scrimping and saving for each piece in those days.

I am really loving all the contributions to this thread.

A few more things from my stash.

Old Chimera. Not sealed, but the Cadian crew blister is.

Dwarf Slayer from Gamesday 2006. I have 2 of these, both sealed, and the other one is in better condition but also more annoying to get a photo of. Maybe next time.

this guy.. I WAS THERE!

Captain 1991 games day

If you ever play with "that guy" remember this :
"there may be times when you are not sure exactly how to resolve a situation that has come up during play. When this happens, have a quick chat with your opponent and apply the solution that makes the most sense to both of you (or seems the most fun!), If no single solution presents itself, you and your opponent should roll off, and whoever rolls the highest gets to choose what happens." That is a very nice blister to have sealed.

I saw the thread made front page of Dakka yesterday.
To celebrate, I'm posting one of my more prized collection pieces.

This is the 1999 release of the Officio Assassinorum set in mint factory-sealed condition.
I think this was one of the most heated eBay auctions I'd ever gotten myself into.
I refused to be outbid on this, and needless to say - I spent far more than I probably should have.

To this very day I still have not seen this item re-listed on Ebay by another seller.
(Although I'm sure they make their way around from time-to-time)
