If I want to play them, I'm almost better off scrounging for a third, then eat the 6 (not 3) CP for a Super Heavy Detachment.

Couldn't you run the 2 as an "understrength unit"?

It never ends well

They just need to allow a Supreme command to take a LOW again.

No-they're not a unit, they're each individual models. And you HAVE to have at least three Lords of War for a proper Super-Heavy Detachment.

And Supreme Command can take Lords of War, Xeno. It's just that it's not the same Supreme Command from 8th edition.

That's what I mean. A supreme command used to allow you to take a LOW 3 hq and an elite. Now it just gives you your commander and bonus CP. Honestly I am cool with the fact it is harder to spam HQ now. However - losing the LOW seems silly. Supreme commanders should have access to the whole arsenal and they should also be granted the same rules of the army.

why no just put a LOW slot into batallions and 2 in a brigade?

Dakka does have White Knights and is also rather infamous for it's Black Knights. A new edition brings out the passionate and not all of them are good at expressing themselves in written form. There have been plenty of hysterical responses from both sides so far. So we descend into pointless bickering with neither side listening to each other. So posting here becomes more masturbation than conversation.
