I'm sorry for your experience with forgeworld. They are saying because you removed the gates and flash that they won't give you a replacement?? Frankly that is a ridiculous stance for them to take.

No, they are saying that it’s no longer in original condition so it’ll take more steps to replace. Namely now I’d have to prove that the resin won’t hold any paint by scrubbing it with special soap they recommended (I just found a similar one at a local hardware store) then spray it with a varnish and attempt to prime it to show that the paint won’t stick at which point they would switch it out for a new one.

That's..... frankly ludicrous??? Because you cleaned up and prepped the part, now you have to jump through hoops? How are those two things connected at all?
