They would, wouldn't they? You can't really expect your ads to reach everyone the same, so you try to set goals for your marketing and prioritize who you address.

I'm sure plenty of us would like something more informative and less exaggerated but companies like Apple and GW have a strong customer base and a strong interest in retaining it to keep them going, so they primarily try to build up a cult around their product to reinforce their customers' commitment.
